Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy and Mixed Connective Tissue Disease are my 2 rare diseases. Thanks to Facebook, at least I know I'm not alone with these.

Darn Good Vegan Sausages
Since I went gluten-free, we haven't had any sausage around our home. The new Engine 2 Cookbook has a brats recipe I want to try, but I never got around to ordering the brown rice spring roll wrappers from Amazon (Nobody around here sells them, not even the 2 Asian markets).
Now Tami Kramer makes her own version without beans.
My husband took off work today so we could get our yearly bloodwork done, and after a quick trip to the recycling center to drop off yet another printer that died on us, our day is free. I'm debating whether or not to talk him into making the trip over state lines to NYC to the nearest Trader Joe's and hope they have these wrappers so I can finally make both of these. If not, I guess I'll just go ahead and order the 6 packs of them from Amazon and hope we like either recipe so I didn't waste $30 on wrappers.

Remember Wendy?
All those on UWL since the beginning know of Wendy Solganick and her blog, Healthy Girl's Kitchen. She went from being AJ's right-hand (wo)man to a Bright Line Eating pusher, and now she's on to Health At Every Size and Intuitive Eating.
Heck, I was writing about that here as far back as 2013!
Go to her blog's home page and read the entries (3 so far) where she mentions she's no longer in eternal pursuit of weight loss.
