Dr. McDougall Webinar: Cardiologists Acting Criminally

Cardiologists Acting Criminally.
In this live webinar, Dr. McDougall, MD, will discuss why some cardiologists withhold life-saving information from their patients.

The scary thing is, what Dr. McDougall described as what the cardiologist says to the scared wife is *exactly* what my husband's cardiologist said after his cardiac cath, including the bit about his blockage being so bad he could drop dead at any minute! Almost word-for-word!! His doc refused to even discharge him from the hospital after his cath, made plans for ASAP transfer to the university hospital where he would have his CABG surgery, and insisted he go by ambulance with a full cardiac team. If we knew then what we know now about 100% blockages, he would never had had the surgery and just gone 100% Esselstyn, as he's been doing since his post-op discharge a week later.

Webinar - Why People Resist Cost-Free Change

With special guest Andrew Taylor, the Australian potato man.

My question to all of you (If you haven't already seen it on Facebook) is:

How do you store your cooked potatoes?

Glass or plastic containers?
Ziplock bags?
In a bowl, either open to the air or covered?
Some other way?

I have so much trouble first finding decent potatoes, and keeping them edible for more than 24 hours after cooking. I want to know how some of you can keep 10 pounds of cooked potatoes ready to eat in your refrigerator for a week or more. I beg you! Tell me the secret!

Thanks. :)

YouTuber Jeanne Schumacher Does McDougall

Someone on the McDougall Maximum Weight Loss Support Facebook Community shared this video for Twice Baked Potatoes. What's the coolest part, Dr. McDougall is keeping the video for this recipe right on his website and linking to it on YouTube.

She also has other McDougall recipes on her site, like Mexican Potato Salad and Dijon Mushroom Potatoes.

The recipes are simple, the videos are quick. Worth a visit.

Why A Plant Based Diet is Best for Heart Disease

A great demonstration on how the heart works, how it's harmed by a SAD diet, and how a plant-rich diet can lower the risk of heart disease. Yes, it's an ad for his new book, The End of Heart Disease, but everything he says goes for the McDougall and Esselstyn food plans, too.

More Chef AJ On Foody TV

Looks like Chef AJ did some more episodes, but they're not in a playlist on FoodyTV web site or its YouTube playlist so you have to search for them.

So far I found 2. This one, episode 213, where AJ makes no-bake cookies from Will and Shauna Putnam with Dr. Alana Pulde and her daughter, split pea soup with Linda Middlesworth, and with Dr. Ellsworth Wareham, where she demonstrates some pesto stuffed portobella mushroom caps.

and episode 207, where she makes balsamic glazed roasted Brussels sprouts with Dr. Artal, stuffed kabocha squash with weightlifting trainer Robert Cheeke, and banana, strawberry, chocolate mousse torte with the woman who does her Reiki treatments (Didn't catch her name).

My son is going to search around to see if he can find episodes 201-206 and 208 through 212, but since FoodTV seems so amateurish, I have no idea if they were even filmed, much less available on-line. I'm still wondering where episode 7 from season 1 is, if it even exists.
